- The Gospel of Jesus has moved from a fringe belief in Israel to the centre of the ancient world.

- The Gospel of Jesus is powerful because it is an act of God, a response to his work of saving us.

- The Gospel of Jesus is logically consistent, worthy of spreading to all the world.

News & Events:

• English Prayer Meeting will take place 11:15—12:30 after service today at Cafetorium. Please join and pray together for each other and for our church.
• PGC families & individual members currently without a cell or is interested in joining an English Cell please sign up by 10/1: https://forms.gle/3pubxsx3GupFXxDr9.  Meeting takes place on every 3^rd Sunday, with a 3-month commitment (Oct-Dec), subject to re-evaluation after and regrouping if needed.
• Sports Night will resume at All Saints Catholic Elementary School (130 Castlemore Ave, Markham) starting from 9/27 (this Wed & every Wed), with 18:00-20:00 for badminton and 20:15-22:15 for basketball.  Everyone joining must fill out a sign-up form (updated) once: https://forms.gle/HFRAGxuSCc7xbTaQA
• Compassion Canada will share on 9/29 (Fri) 7:30pm (during CrossRoads) at PCA Small Gym about their short-term missionary trips, which may also be suitable for families to join. Welcome interested parents & youths to join for more details.
• High school (HS) girls gathering will have 1st meetup on 10/1 (next & every 1st Sun) 11:15-12:30 at Rm306 with possibility of gathering outside PCA. Participating HS girls please arrange with parents on pick-up location after gathering.
• PGC cordially invite for your presence at the Ordination Service for Pastor Ken Lee 10:30 on 10/29 (Sunday) with light refreshments to be served at 10:00-10:25. Lunch celebration will take place 13:00 after service at Golden Palace Banquet Hall (First Markham Place) at $30/ticket.  Interested brother and sisters please sign up with your cell leader asap.  Appreciate in advance your kind understanding if your ticket request cannot be accommodated due to limited seats available.

• Pray for the world with many places suffering from political instability and natural disasters. May God grant peace and mercy.
• Pray for 3hr staggered Sunday Services launching today with good coordination among all congregations in using limited space at PCA efficiently for heathy growth of various church ministries.
• Pray for PGC’s land purchased years ago to be developed in God’s time & plan.
• Pray for PGC’s supporting missionaries, as well as different missionary fields all over the world. May the gospel be widespread.
