• Upcoming PGC Membership Meeting will take place 11:30-12:30 on 5/28 (Sunday) in person at PCA Big Gym (NO Zoom available). Meeting agenda has been sent to PGC members through cell leaders and/or by email.  PGC members and non-members please reserve time to attend, pray for the meeting agenda and together seek God’s guidance for PGC.
• Praise the LORD Jesus we have experienced His amazing provision for Summer Camp in this past week: a youth team including camp manager, a venue in All Saints Catholic Elementary School (Kennedy/Castlemore), as well as government funding on youth hiring.  Please continue to pray for and invite friends and family to register for camp: https://PGCmarkham.org/summercamp/
• “Rethinking Discipleship” - IDMC 2023 Conference will be held 7-9:30pm on 6/23 (Fri) & 2-9:30pm on 6/24 (Sat). Rev. Edmund and Pastor Ann Chan will speak in English with Cantonese interpretation. Conference will be held at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church (SCBC), Zoom option available, with onsite fee at $100/per (incl. Sat dinner) and online $60/per.  A $10 discount available for church group registration with 10 people and more. To encourage participation of brothers and sisters, PGC will subsidize half of the fee, i.e. applicants pay only $45 (onsite) or $25 (online) to participate. • The Funeral Service of Brother James Hui will take place on 5/27 (Sat) at Chapel Ridge Funeral House (8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham). The Service will start with Visitation (9-10am), followed by Service (10-11:30am), Burial (12pm), then Lunch (1:30pm).  In lieu of flowers, please arrange memorial donations to contribute evenly to 3 organizations close to James’ heart: PGC, Sunnybrooks Odette Cancer Centre and Joy Beyond Vision Community.  Donations can be made by e-transfer to inmemoryofjameshui@gmail.com.

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for the recruitment of Director of Education in York Region District School Board. May God lead the suitable candidate to submit all needed materials soon and grant him/her the ability and wisdom to respond to all interview questions.  Pray that all 13 trustee members will choose the candidate with integrity who can bring about positive influence to our children’s educational development.
• Praise the Lord for a youth team including camp manager, an elementary school as venue, and government approved funding on youth’s salary in summer camp. May God bless us with at least 20 campers registration weekly.
• Pray for missionaries, and local mission and Christian organizations, supported by PGC. May God strengthen their ministries to bear more spiritual fruits.  Pray for Janice Lo in Cambodia, who will return to Canada for graduation in May end.
