• David waits for God’s will, instead of taking matters into his own hands
• David mourns and laments the death of Jonathan and Saul despite the history between himself and Saul.
• We are called to respect, and pray for our leaders, recognizing that they too are from God

Discussion Questions:

1. Do David’s actions seem reasonable to you given the history he shares with Jonathan and Saul?
2. What might you have done if you were in his place
3. What did the messenger do that caused David to kill him?
4. What does the word Lament mean to you?
5. What does David’s lament tell us about his faith?
6. How does that affect how we mourn?

• It will be PGC Joint Mission Sunday Service next week on 4/30 to be held at PCA Big Gym (the Nest). Thankful to have Dr Amal Gendi from Palm Pioneers to come share with us.  Encourage brothers and sisters to also stay behind and join PGC Prayer Meeting taking place after Sunday Service (11:30am—12:30pm) at the Small Gym.  English Sunday School for youths still takes place as normal:

• With the community fully reopened and Spring has arrived, PGC will stop Zoom / livestreaming of Sunday services starting in May. Brothers and sisters who have yet to join physical services are encouraged to come worship our Lord together at PCA. If you are unwell or could not join us physically, you are welcome to log on the PGC website (https://pgcmarkham.org/sermons-selections/) in the afternoon to watch the video of the Cantonese Sunday Service, and audio recording of the English Sermon to be posted on the next day. Please kindly note.
• Please note the updates about Sports Night at PCA as below:
  a. Every Wed, 8-10pm, both Big and Small Gyms are available for basketball and badminton. Adults, and parents bringing along teens, can enjoy the night.
  b. Last Sat every month, with time updated as 4-6pm, Big Gym serves for Families with kids and teens.  IGC Cells may schedule gatherings at Cafetorium after sports.  Please contact Hingstone Calvin Lee and Pastor Iain for details and enquiries about Sports Night.
• Summer camp is now open for registration! We have lots of space now so come register your children and invite their friends!  Youth please check out our recruitment and application forms at back of gym!  Pray for God's goodness and good will be done and may PGC's next generation be built up! Application deadline for manager, coordinator and counselor is April 30th!

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for brothers and sisters who confirmed to believe in God last Sunday and recently. May God keep their faith to follow Him.
• Pray for the summer camp. May God provide a suitable camp venue, and grant of government funding for the youth’s salary Pray for God’s provision of a Camp Manager and the youth team.  May our youth grow spiritually in God.
• Pray for Rev. Tam and Annie Cmo now travelling in HK.
