Sermon Notes:

  • The Disciples could not see Jesus on their own, he had to be revealed to them.
  • All the scriptures are ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ
  • Once we can see, we have an obligation to go and tell others

Discussion Questions:

  1. What are some preconceived ideas you had/have about what God is like, or what he wants for us.
  2. How important is it to your faith the idea that the messiah had to suffer, die, and be raised to glory?
  3. What other ideas are more important to you?
  4. If we are going to tell people what has been revealed to us, what are we supposed to share? What is the best way to go about it?

  • PGC Executive Board Meeting will take place this afternoon. Please pray for God’s direction and guidance on church ministries and matters.

We have lots of space now so come register your children and invite their friends!  Youth please check out our recruitment and application forms at back of gym!  Pray for God's goodness and good will be done and may PGC's next generation be built up!   • With the community fully reopened and Spring has arrived, PGC will stop Zoom / livestreaming of Sunday services starting in May. Brothers and sisters who have yet to join physical services are encouraged to come worship our Lord together at PCA. If you are unwell or could not join us physically, you are welcome to log on the PGC website (https://pgcmarkham.org/sermons-selections/) in the afternoon to watch the video of the Cantonese Sunday Service, and audio recording of the English Sermon to be posted on the next day. Please kindly note.
  • English Women Cell will take place 1-3pm on Apr/22 (next Sat) at Tiffany's place. All women at Gr11 and up are welcome to join.  Please contact Tiffany, Jenny Ho, or Viktoriia (email: crossroads@pgcmail.org) for more details.

Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pray for brothers and sisters who decided to believe in God last Sunday and recently. May God keep their faith to follow Him.
  • Pray for the summer camp. May God provide a suitable camp venue, and grant of government funding for the youth’s salary Pray for God’s provision of a Camp Manager and the youth team.  May our youth grow spiritually in God.
  • Pray for Pastor Andy and his family now travelling in HK.
