Discussion Questions
1) What was Jesus' message, why did He come to Earth?
2) What comes to your mind first when you are asked "Who is Jesus?"
3) How does knowing Jesus (his person, power and position) impact your daily life?
4) Who is someone you could tell about Jesus? 
5) How does the way you live show people you know/follow Jesus?
6) Do you have a companion that you know will be by your side? If not, are you willing to find one?


News & Events:

  • We thank Rev. Glen Eyre for being the guest speaker of Joint English & Jr English Sunday Service today. May God continue to bless his ministry and family.
  • Some members of the English congregation have gone for the English Retreat at Teens Ranch during this Family Day long weekend since last Friday. Please pray that all participating congregants will have stronger bonding in Christ.
  • Due to English Retreat, both English and Jr English Sunday School (for teens & youth) will suspend for today and resume next Sunday.
  • Please note that 2 Cantonese Sunday School classes will have venue change starts from today:
    - 箴言研讀     (Rm.306)  led by: Brian Lee, Ryan Liu
    - 作主真門徒 (Rm.307)  led by: Pastor Ken, Vincent Shea
  • Children's ministry "Loving God Loving Friends" for 2.5 years to Grade 5 takes place at Cafeteria from 1130am to 1230pm. Since staff is limited in this new ministry we have 15 spots available weekly for kids whose parents are staying or serving in adult or youth Sunday School only.  Parents please sign them in again inside cafeteria.
  • Summer Camp is hiring a team of youth workers and accepting applications now for 1 Camp Director (18+), 2 Camp Coordinators (Gr12+) & 8 Camp Counselors (Gr10+).  Interviews will be arranged immediately for prospective applicants.  Applications & details can be found at https://PGCmarkham.org/summercamp/.  Camp's vision is to build up a vibrant youth team to build up children lovingly for God's Kingdom.  Please pray that God will provide a venue in Unionville, right candidates and also CSJ funding approval.  Children (current JK to Gr8) registration and youth volunteers (Gr 6+) application will be announced by end of March.
  • Starting from February, PCA Big Gym will be available for use by PGC brother and sisters on the time slots below:
    a. Every Wed, 8-10pm for Adults. Parents may bring along teens.
    b. Last Sat every month, 4-7pm for Families with kids and teens.

Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pray for the Türkiye and Syria earthquake. May all rescue and relief works be carried out efficiently to save the victims, the injured and all those affected, and God’s comfort will reach the hearts of those in suffering.
  • Pray for Sunday School helping congregants to grow in God’s Word.
  • Pray for PGC’s land purchased years ago to be developed in God’s time & plan.
  • Pray for Summer Camp: funding, camp site & spiritual growth of our youth.
  • Pray for Jessica and Kevin Teh from OMF, who will set off their missionary trip with their baby in this month. May God keep them safe with good health.
