  1. God's design for sex is to be between one man and one woman for one lifetime in marriage.
  2. God gives us sex for our good!
  3. We are called to be loving to those who are struggling with sexual sin, to not judge them or bully them

 

News & Events:

  • Today is Volunteer Recruitment Day.  To meet the needs of PGC Sunday School and Nursery ministry relaunching soon in February, we need many more volunteers to serve and support in the ministries of Children, Nursery and English.  Please come to the volunteer recruitment booths set up at both Big and Small Gyms for enquiries and sign up to serve in God’s family together.
  • In receipt of a complaint from PCA this week, please be reminded to respect all supplies in the classroom and do not remove anything as small as paper, tissue boxes or pencils. We encourage all teachers and leaders to always take before and after photos of classrooms for good housekeeping record.
  • The 1st 2023 PGC Executive Board Meeting will take place this afternoon. Please pray for God’s direction and guidance on church ministries and matters.
  • Summer Camp has submitted CSJ funding for youth employment. Applications for youth volunteers and workers will commence around mid February.   Pray for God's provision of a camp venue and building up youth in His Kingdom: PGCmarkham.org/summercamp/.
  • The upcoming English Women Cell will take place 12pm on Jan/28 (Sat) at Tiffany's Place. All women at Gr11 and up are welcome to join.  Please contact Tiffany, Jenny Ho, or Viktoriia (email: crossroads@pgcmail.org) for more information and address.

Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pray for PGC’s direction and plans in 2023 to be carried out by the whole church in a united heart to proclaim, grow and connect with God’s guidance.
  • Pray for Sunday School from February to help congregants grow in God’s Word.
  • Pray for PGC’s land purchased years ago to be developed with church building on it in due course according to God’s will and plan.
  • Pray for good partnership with PCA for further development of PGC’s ministries.
  • Pray for the newly setup English Caring Team to care for congregants’ needs.
  • Pray for 2023 Summer Camp: funding application, suitable camp site & spiritual growth of our youth.
  • Pray for recruitments for both Nursery reopens and children's ministry extra hour on February.
