Sin is not just something we do, it is a force that goes after us

Being a Christian means pushing back on the Sin done against us

Forgiveness is not option, Jesus tells us we must forgive always


News & Events:

  • Praise the Lord! Construction work at PCA is about to complete. PGC has targeted to move into Peoples Christian Academy (PCA) on Nov 20. This will become our home place to worship on Sundays and as main meeting place for our ministries.We schedule to have a Joint Thanksgiving Service on 11/20 at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA)

    Updated Schedule for Sunday Service at PCA:
    10:00am - 11:15am - All worship : Cantonese, English,Jr. English &  Children
    11:15am - 11:45am - Love Coffee & Snacks
    11:45am - 12:45pm - Sunday School (2023 Jan)

    Invite brothers and sisters to return and participate in physical worship and cell group gatherings. Would Management Committees of each Ministry please plan on weekly arrangements of Sunday service, and recruit brothers and sisters for support on AV, venue setup, ushering, etc. where necessary.

    With availability of renovated gyms at PCA, PGC may make good use of the facility to develop Sports & Recreation Ministry for our seniors, youths, families and invite friends to come.  PGC plans to set up a committee responsible for overall planning and coordination on gyms usage and scheduling.  Brothers and sisters from different congregations and zones are welcome to contact Pastor Andy asap if interested in sports and are willing to serve in this ministry.

  • 2022 Passport to Purity Retreat has taken place since yesterday and will end this afternoon. Please pray for the 6 pairs of participating preteens-parents.  May God’s word take root in their hearts and lead them to pursue purity in life.
  • October is Appreciation Month for pastoral staff and cell leaders. Encourage brothers and sisters to recognise and appreciate their Pastors, church leaders and cell leaders for their dedication and commitment.
  • Transformative Times Conference Canada, to be held at PCA on Nov/4-5, is a free national missionary conference.  There will be missionary seminars and exhibitions booths from multinational mission agencies.  Join and know the current missionary ministry worldwide.     PGC will join PCA in supporting the Conference by volunteering to serve in different areas.  We would like to recruit 2 Youths to support as concert helpers (each to serve in evening 6-10:30pm).  Please contact Pastor Iain or Pastor Andy if interested.  For other supports, please contact Pastor Ken.

Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pra y for Municipal Council & School Board Election on Oct/24. May God guide us to elect for suitable candidates who will seek the best benefits for the community.
  • Pray for church leaders to have wisdom in arrangements about moving in PCA.
  • Pray for 2023 Summer Camp on its planning, venue seeking and funding application. May this ministry be a blessing to spiritual growth of our youth.
