News & Events:

• Transformative Times Conference Canada, a national missionary conference free in admission, will be held on Nov/4-5 at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA). This 2-day Conference involves a series of missionary seminars and exhibitions booths from multinational mission agencies.  Brothers and sisters are encouraged to register (https://www.transformativetimes.ca/) and join this Conference to broaden horizon on current missionary ministry worldwide.
  PGC will join PCA in supporting the Conference by volunteering to serve in different areas, like greeters, parking lot attendants, etc.  Please contact Pastor Ken Lee if you’re interested to serve in the Conference.
• It has been almost a month since the birth of Aurelia Alexandrivna Davis, daughter of Pastor Iain and Vika. Thanks God for keeping everyone of them healthy.  PGC will hold a short Post-Baby Shower for their family after worship on 10/9 at SilverCity Theatre 1.  Please feel free to join and give them blessings.
• A PGC Cantonese Online Workshop will take place from Oct/4-Dec/20 (Tue)
  8-9:30pm on the Book of Daniel about “Biblical Perspective to Politics of the Superpowers”, with Dr Clement Yeung as the speaker. Please register (https://forms.gle/Su65izvkmwSZQuan6) if interested.
• 2022 Passport to Purity Retreat will be held on the weekend of Oct 22-23. Please pray for the 6 pairs of preteens and parents joining the event, and pray for Pastor Connie Liu and her serving team for a successful and enjoyable event.

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for Municipal Council & School Board Election on Oct/24. May God guide us to elect for suitable candidates who will seek the best benefits for the community.
• Praise the Lord for 10 brothers & sisters got baptized this year. May God strengthen their faith to continue follow His path and glorify His name.
• Praise the Lord PCA’s renovation works will be completing soon. Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance to our church leaders in settling the rental details with PCA for launching our Sunday worship and regular gatherings there soon.
• Pray for 2023 Summer Camp on its planning, venue seeking and funding application. May this ministry be a blessing to spiritual growth of our youth.
