News & Events:

• For PGC Baptism this year, a total of 10 brothers & sisters applied to be baptized: Bethel(1) Maria Chow; IGC(1) Miranda Choi; HS(4) Doris Xu, Neil Chan, Angie Tam, Flora Ng; English(3) Ethan Leung, Erin Law, Elena Law. Another candidate, Mr Jing Yao Guo (Winnie Guo’s father), will also get baptized by sprinkling led by Rev. Leung & Pastor Lee. Pray to God in leading their spiritual journey and strengthening their faith.
• Rehearsal will be held today 3pm at Grace Chinese Gospel Church (GCGCNY)(201 Tempo Ave, North York).  Would candidates getting baptized and staff members serving in ceremony on 9/10 please attend the rehearsal.
• The arrangement this year will be as below:
  (a) Ceremony will take place 11am on 9/10 (Sat) at GCGCNY.  All including relatives & friends are welcome to attend and witness their life changes in God.
  (b) Baptismal Celebration Service  will take place on 9/18 (Sun) at SilverCity as combined service.  Edited video recording of the baptismal ceremony will be played, with live testimony sharing and presentation of baptismal certificates.  Certificates for members newly joined PGC will also be presented.
• A Parent Info Night will be held 7:30pm on 9/9 (coming Fri) at Peoples Christian Academy (245 Renfrew Dr, Markham) to share on CrossRoads (CRs) fellowship, its short & long-term visions, upcoming challenges & opportunities. All CRs youths & parents are encouraged to attend this important night.
• High School (HS) Boys Gathering will resume meeting bi-weekly beginning 9/14. All HS boys from Gr 9-12 are welcome to join.  If you’re interested, please contact Pastor Andy (crossroads@pgcmail.org) for more information.
• PGC Cantonese will have 2 Online Workshops about (a) worship leading techniques; (b) song production in MP4. Please refer to registration form (https://forms.gle/RMNGDgDuV4fLwMrm8) or Chinese bulletin for details.
• The Gospel Coalition Canada (TGC) will hold a 2-day conference on Nov 17-18 at Hope Bible Church in Oakville (500 Great Lakes Blvd, Oakville, ON L6L 6X9). Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray to God for our safety and health when COVID-19 remains affecting worldwide badly. May God heal those contracted COVID to get well soon.
• Pray for students returning to schools from September.
• Pray for all needs and arrangements of baptism (both 9/10 & 9/18), and that God will strengthen the faith and hearts of all baptismal candidates.
• Pray for Missionary Janice Lo’s ministry at Cambodian Grace Christian Church, and Cindy Lai to adapt and set off her ministry in the missionary field.
