News & Events:

• PGC Baptism 2022 will have arrangements as below:
  (a) Ceremony will take place at 11am on 9/10 (Sat) at Grace Chinese Gospel Church (201 Tempo Ave, North York).  All including relatives and friends are welcome to attend and witness their life changes in God.
  A total of 9 brothers & sisters applied to be baptized this year.  They are: Bethel (1) Maria Chow; IGC (1) Miranda Choi; HS (4) Doris Xu, Neil Chan, Angie Tam, Flora Ng;  English (3) Ethan Leung, Erin Law, Elena Law.  Pray to God  in leading their spiritual journey and strengthen their faith.
  (b) Baptismal Celebration Service  will take place on 9/18 (Sun) at SilverCity as combined service.  Edited video recording of the baptismal ceremony will be played, with live testimony sharing and presentation of baptismal certificates.  Certificates for members newly joined PGC will also be presented.
• Next Sunday 9/4 will be Joint English and Jr English Communion Service to be held at SilverCity Theatre 2. Please prepare your bread and cups in advance, if you will join via Zoom (https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/g6-8).
• Pastor Connie Liu is on vacation during the period of Aug 27-Sep 4. Please contact Rev. Jim Tam if you need pastoral support or Lucia about PGCKIDS.
• English Adults potluck gathering will take place today 12:30pm at Tiffany’s place. Students entering university or Gr 12 in September are welcome!
• A Parent Info Night will be held 7:30pm on 9/9 (Fri) at Peoples Christian Academy (245 Renfrew Dr, Markham) to share on CrossRoads fellowship, its short & long-term visions, and challenges now facing. All parents and youths of Crossroad are encouraged to attend this important night.
• As our 1st Basketball Leadership Camp has finished, we are now inviting non PGC campers to join our English ministry and fellowship. Please pray for God's leading in our future ministry planning as well as summer camp 2023.
• The Gospel Coalition Canada (TGC) will hold a 2-day conference on Nov 17-18 at Hope Bible Church in Oakville (500 Great Lakes Blvd, Oakville, ON L6L 6X9). Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray to God for our safety and health when COVID-19 remains affecting worldwide badly. May God heal those contracted COVID to get well soon.
• Pray for all needs and arrangements of the baptism ceremony, and that God will strengthen the faith and hearts of all baptismal candidates.
• Pray for Missionary Janice Lo’s ministry at Grace Christian Church at Cambodia, esp. a music evangelistic concert to be held on 8/28. Pray also for Cindy Lai to adapt and set off her ministry in the missionary field.
