News & Events:

• Basketball Leadership Camp has just finished week 2. The next week will be for a total of 25 upcoming grade 6-8 youth. Please remember coaches, pastors and campers in the name of Jesus.  We invite campers' parents, ministry committee leaders and deacons to join us for next Friday celebration at MGC 4:30-8:30pm to witness God's blessings, for worship, awards, food and games.
• The Gospel Coalition Canada (TGC) will hold a 2-day conference on Nov 17-18 at Hope Bible Church in Oakville (500 Great Lakes Blvd, Oakville, ON L6L 6X9). • Due to the surge of Covid-19 cases, staff and board members decided for PGC to stay at SilverCity for worship and move to PCA when its renovation is completed by Nov/Dec. Please stay tuned for more details to be announced and continue to keep our moving to PCA in prayers.
• This year PGC Baptism will be held on 9/10 (Sat) at our mother church, Grace Chinese Gospel Church (201 Tempo Ave, North York. M2H 2R9).  Relatives of baptismal candidates will be invited to attend the ceremony. The ceremony will be video recorded, but no Zoom broadcast will be arranged.  The baptismal celebration service will take place on 9/18 (Sun) at SilverCity as a combined service for Cantonese, English & Jr. English.  Edited video recording of the baptismal ceremony will be played, with live testimony sharing and presentation of baptismal certificates.

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray to God for our safety and health when COVID-19 remains affecting worldwide adversely, esp. when many will be away during this summer. May those contracted COVID will get healed and recovered in His mercy.
• Pray for all needs and arrangements of the baptism ceremony, and that God will strengthen the faith and hearts of all baptismal candidates to witness and glorify Him in front of others.
• Pray for coaches, pastors and youths’ hearts to serve younger teens on the following week with bond-building & spiritual growth.
• Pray for Missionary Janice Lo’s ministry at Grace Christian Church at Cambodia, esp. a music evangelistic concert to be held on 8/28. Pray also for Cindy Lai as she has set off her missionary trip.  May God keep her safe on all flight transits to destination.
