News & Events:

• Parents please be reminded to exercise caution on your children in SilverCity as this is a public space. Never leave them unattended before their entry into the children's worship theatre or after they are signed out. Keep an extra eye on them when they're at the lobby arcade area. We noticed last week there was a stranger being escorted out of SilverCity during our worship hours. Let us all keep an eye on our children and youth and take initiative to talk to strangers to see if they need any help.
  
• Thank God for His blessings and guidance! PGC Basketball Skills & Leadership Camp 2022 will take place at Milliken Gospel Church (8 Elson St, Markham) from Aug/2-19 for current Gr. 5-12. Registration opens 10am on May/20. Spots are limited. We are also recruiting adult volunteer coaches and various supports. • PGC has obtained some KN95 facemasks for distribution among PGC brothers and sisters. Each PGC family can get up to 5pcs at SilverCity on Sunday until quantity last.  If you are unable to join in-person Sunday service, please contact your cell leaders to help pick up on behalf.
• PGC has registered a shorter weblink to facilitate sharing and searching of our church website from the internet: http://PGCmarkham.org/. Brothers and sisters please feel free to make use of it to introduce our church and invite people to join our gatherings.
• There will be no CrossRoads gathering on May/20 (this Friday) due to Victoria Day long weekend. Gathering will resume on May/27 at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA), with gym at 6:30pm and program 7:30-9pm.
• PGC offers different methods to facilitate offering that suits you best. In-person offering can now be made on Sunday through the offering box set up at SilverCity Theatre 1.  For other methods like automatic deposit and online offering, please find details here: https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/offering-en/
• PGC Membership Meeting will take place via Zoom on 5/29 (Sunday) at 2:30- 3:30pm. Meeting agenda has been sent out to cell leaders for onward sharing to cell members.  Zoom login details will be distributed during the week of 5/23-27 for all PGC members to participate and vote.  Non PGC members are welcome to watch the meeting from YouTube live broadcast.  Brothers and sisters please reserve time to attend, pray for the meeting agenda and together we seek God’s guidance for PGC.

Prayer Items:

• Pray for God’s peace and mercy on the Russia-Ukraine war to ceasefires soon.
• Pray for the planning of the first basketball camp for youths in August with possible use of government approved funding in God’s blessings and guidance.

Praise Items:

• Give thanks to God for Pastor Iain and Viktoriia expecting a baby girl, and the due day of Andy and Jenny’s baby boy is at any time. May God bless both families.
• Our Missionary Janice Lo (盧潔香宣教士) will get ordinated on Jun/8. Praise to God!
