News & Events:

• Upcoming PGC Membership Meeting will take place via Zoom on 5/29 (Sunday) at 2:30- 3:30pm. Meeting agenda will be sent out next week to cell leaders for forwarding to cell members, and Zoom login information will be distributed during the week of 5/23-27 for all PGC members to participate and vote. Non PGC members are welcome to watch the meeting from YouTube live broadcast. Brothers and sisters please reserve time to attend, pray for the meeting agenda and together we seek God’s guidance for PGC.

• Cell Leaders and Ministry Committees Members Retreat will take place on May/14 8:30am—12:30pm at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA). PGC leaders will share on church vision and updates, as well as upcoming development of cell ministry. All cell leaders and committee members are invited to join the retreat. Tea and coffee will be served in the morning, Participating members are welcome to join lunch outside together. Please keep the retreat in prayers.
• From May until further notice, CrossRoads in-person Friday gathering will take place at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA), with gym at 6:30pm and program 7:30-9pm. Youths of Gr6 and up are welcome to invite friends to come along.
• PGC children's summer camp will need to postpone to 2023 since we cannot find a suitable place despite months of active search and prayers. We trust God's best leading and purpose. We are now planning for a PGC Basketball Leadership and Outreach Camp from August 2-19 for current Gr. 5-12. We invite PGC to pray for God's blessing and guidance on this and details will be shared soon. Please expect registration in mid May, and stay tuned with us: https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/summercamp/

Prayer Items:

• Pray for God’s peace and mercy on the Russia-Ukraine war to ceasefires soon
• Pray for the planning of the first basketball camp for youths in August with possible use of government approved funding in God’s blessings and guidance.

Praise Items:

• Give thanks to God for Pastor Iain and Viktoriia expecting a baby girl, and the due day of Andy and Jenny’s baby boy is approaching in mid May. May God bless both families.
• Our Missionary Janice Lo (盧潔香宣教士) will get ordinated on Jun/8. Praise to God!
