News & Events:

• We thank Pastor Louis Leung for being the guest speaker of today’s English Sunday Service. May God continue to bless his ministry and family.
• Next Sunday, May/1, will be Holy Communion Service. Individually packed Holy Communion kits will be served at SilverCity. If you will join via Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/97105588666 Meeting ID: 971 0558 8666), please prepare your bread and cups in advance.
• Our pastoral intern, Andy Tse, will be graduating on May 1 at Toronto Baptist Seminary (130 Gerrard St E, Toronto). Brothers and sisters are welcome to attend the ceremony which starts at 6:30pm. May God continue to bless his service at PGC.
• In the last year, Andy Tse has been working as full time Pastoral Intern, leading the Junior English Ministry in serving the Gr.6-8 youths. He will graduate from theological studies in May and is currently undergoing the pastoral search process to become a PGC Pastoral Staff. PGC members will vote on Andy’s pastoral appointment motion at the upcoming PGC Membership Meeting on May 29. Please pray for Andy and God’s guidance.
• Beginning in May, CrossRoads in-person Friday gathering will take place at Peoples Christian Academy (PCA), with gym opens at 6:30pm and program from 7:30-9pm, until further notice. Youths of Gr 6 and above are welcome to invite friends to come along.
• April is crucial for PGC Summer Camp 2022 as results are unfolding for: 1. approval of government funding, 2. hiring of Camp Manager and 3.
  availability of camp site. There have been many changes on the developments. Please keep praying for us to understand God's will and guidance for the camp. https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/summercamp/
• PGCKIDS In-person Sunday Service will officially relaunch at SilverCity Cineplex on May/8 for kids aged 2.5 to Gr 5. PGCKIDS online zoom will end officially on that day. Thanks to all serving teams and parents for relaunching and serve with us. Parents please review all important guidelines and arrangements here: https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/pgc-kids/
• A Prayer Area at SilverCity (at hallway end near backdoor) will serve for PGC staff/leaders to pray in 2-3 at 9:30am for serving teams, sermon messages of the day, and PGC’s ministries. Let’s come and pray together for our church.

Prayer Items:

• Pray for Ukraine humanitarian ceasefires be possible soon for desperate civilians to be evacuated and needed assistance can be delivered to embattled areas.
• Pray for summer camp: God’s provision on venue and serving people, as well as His guidance on new developments.
• Pray for visas of Aaron and his family be approved soon to enter the destined mission country in SE Asia.

Praise Items:

• Praise to God that Pastor Iain and Viktoriia are expecting a baby girl. Let’s keep their family in prayers.
• Praise to God that Andy will be graduating on May/1. Jenny and he is also expecting a baby boy with due date around mid May. May God continue to bless his family and his serving at PGC.
