“A subject for rejoicing”

CHAIRMAN : ALEC CHENG
SPEAKER : PASTOR IAIN DAVIS
SCRIPTURE : LUKE 10: 1-24

Notes:

  • When we go out to spread the word of God we rely not on our own gifts, but on the gift giver.
  • We praise God for revealing his truth to us about the coming Kingdom of God.
  • If it ever looks like God is on the ropes, and Satan is winning, remember Christ’s Victory on the Cross!

Prayer Items:

  • Pray for the underwater volcanic eruption at Tonga that triggered tsunami to New Zealand, Australia, Japan and even west coast of US. May God have mercy and guide the international rescue teams to save those who lost homes and lives at risk due to polluted air and water.
  • Pray for risk of conflicts at RussiaUkraine, as well as political instability at Zhongnanhai. May God reveal His sovereignty and grant peace to stop the conflicts.
  • Pray that PGC leaders will seek God’s love and wisdom to resolve conflicts, handle misunderstanding and pacify emotions of brothers and sisters based on biblical teaching to maintain unity in God’s kingdom.

Praise Item:

  • Praise God that 2 missionaries, Aaron Mok and Cindy Lai, had faithfully responded to His calling, and PGC will be supporting their mission to Cambodia in 2022. Pray that God will provide for their fundraising need, and He will protect them and their family for going abroad. May God grant them love, wisdom and courage to spread the gospel to non-believers there.
