• While others celebrate presents, family, holiday cheer, we hold onto the truth that Jesus came for us
• The world can say what it likes, but the one we worship will overcome

News & Events:

• "Receive the King of Kings" PGC Joint Online Christmas Celebration will take place on 12/25 (Sat) 11am-12:30pm. Brothers and sisters are welcome to invite family and friends to join us on this joyful Christmas Day to receive the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings!
  Thank you for each of the 4 zones of Carmel, Bethel, IGC and Hingstone in preparing their short clips of Christmas greetings for this special day, which shall be played during the Christmas Celebration to deliver their warm blessings to all congregations.
• Families of the congregation, adults and youths with families, are welcome to join the Christmas Eve Singalong on 12/24 (Fri) 7-8:30pm at Victoria Square Community Centre (2929 Elgin Mills Rd East, Gormley). Feel free to drop in earlier after 4pm for boardgames and hangout time before we sing Christmas carols together. Due to COVID, proof of vaccination is needed for ages 12 or above, and they allow only 75 people max. First come first serve. • Two Christian courses for G7-12 youths are available for those interested in learning more about the bible. Both courses are offered on first come first serve basis, with 5 people per church per class. • Year 2021 is coming to an end. How’s your offering at PGC been this year? PGC offers 3 methods we can respond to God financially to provide for PGC needs and you can choose one that suits you best. Friendly reminder: Cut-off date for 2021 tax receipt will be on Dec/31.

Prayer Items:

• Pray for God’s sovereignty over the spread of COVID variants in Canada and worldwide, and improved vaccine will be available especially to the needy ones.
• Pray for development and growth of Jr High and High School fellowships starting from Jan 2022, and God’s provision of a female intern for youths with adult counselors to serve alongside.

Praise Item:

• Thank God that in-person Sunday service may be possible soon at Silver-City Cineplex. May God grant us wisdom to handle challenges and plan well on arranging worship services for all congregations.
