News & Events:

• Daylight saving time will end next Sunday, November 7th. Please be reminded to set the clock back 1 hour on coming Saturday night. It is also a Holy Communion Service on November 7th. B/S who will partake in HC please prepare bread and cups in advance.
• October is Appreciation Month for pastoral staff and cell leaders. Encourage brothers and sisters to initiate their zone and cell members to recognise and appreciate their zone Pastor and leaders for their dedication and commitment.
• PGC is now conducting a “Devotion / Bible Reading Survey” to understand the situation of brothers and sisters in personal devotion and Bible reading. We also want to know the habit of parents praying and reading the Bible with their children. • The upcoming Toronto Revival Meeting (in Cantonese) will take place on November 4-7. Please refer to the Chinese bulletin for details.
• CrossRoads youths & families are encouraged to put faith in action by preparing bags of goods for the ministries like Toronto Alliance Church and Youth Unlimited that are reaching out to homeless adults and youths. Bags are now available for you to fulfill this good will. If you are interested to participate in this Compassion Care Packages Campaign, please contact Andy for bags and details. Date of bag collection has been extended to November 5.
• Crossroads Fellowship is now planning to multiply into separate Junior High (G6-8) and High School (G9-12) starting in January 2022. Adult helpers are needed to help in leading, mentoring and serving the youths. If you are interested, please contact Andy or join as observers in any of the youth meetings.
• The Executive Board and the Missionary Ministry have approved the application of Cindy Lai as one of the PGC’s supporting overseas missionaries. Cindy has responded to God’s calling to mission in Cambodia and is planning to go early next year after acquiring enough funding. Please pray for Cindy, and she will share about her calling with different congregations in the upcoming dates.

Prayer Items:

• Pray for God’s protection of the 17 missionaries being kidnapped in Haiti to be released soon.
• Pray for God’s provision of a female intern for youths and move adult counselors to serve alongside.

Praise Item:

• Thank God for 18 teens and families joining P2P Hybrid Retreat last week. May God help the parents to lead their children in living a godly life.
