“The Greater of Two Miracles”

CHAIRMAN : CECIL MAR
SPEAKER : PASTOR IAIN DAVIS
SCRIPTURE : LUKE 5 :12 - 26

Notes :

  • Jesus’ miracle was amazing, but his ability to forgive our sins is even greater!!
  • God is not limited to healing or forgiving sin, he can do both.
  • The friends of the paralyzed man had faith and were healed, but the Pharisees did not have faith and received no miracle at all.

News & Events:

  • The Youth Ministry is planning to restructure and form a student leadership committee for fellowship. All high schoolers are invited to reveal their interests on different serving areas by filling in the Youth Serving Interest Form: https://forms.gle/RrSP8so3NV4gp3cF6. Separate email with more information, including the Information Night scheduled on October 4, will be sent to those who sign up. Please contact Intern Andy Tse for enquiries.
  • Children Dedication Ceremony will take place during the PGC Joint Online Worship on October 17 this year. This is a dedication for parents to commit to walk with the Lord Jesus and raise their children to know and obey God.
Parents with kids below 12 years of age, who are interested to make this commitment, please contact Pastor Connie for enquiries and Lucia for registration before deadline on September 19. Friends and families are welcome to join the ceremony and share the joy. Please pray for the hearts of relevant parents and preparation of the Ceremony.
  • PGC is supporting World Vision Global6k Run for clean water in September! The event aims to raise funds for provision of clean water in developing countries. Please feel free to organize the run with your cell group, friends and family in this month to support such a meaningful cause! Simply sign up here: https://worldvisioncan.akaraisin.com/ui/global6k2021/t/PGC
  • In-person English Sunday Worship is now open up for BS who are interested. The in-person worship gathering will take place at ONE location for now, on first-come-first-serve basis, with limit of 10 fully vaccinated brothers & sisters. The arrangement and capacity limit has been set to take into account safety and disturbance to the neighbors. More spots may be arranged later depending on the congregation’s readiness of in-person worship as well as venue availability.
