• Praise the Lord for the 2021 PGC Baptism Ceremony successfully held last Sunday with 9 brothers & sisters got baptized to witness their salvations in Jesus Christ and glorify God’s name. May God continue to lead their spiritual journey. Give thanks also to the hard works of the Baptism Committee for planning in these months, all helping brothers and sisters behind the scenes, as well as Joe/Wulisa offering their backyard as the venue, to satisfy the success of this very first outdoor live baptism ceremony. • To create an opportunity for church members to bond and have fun with each other outside Friday fellowship and Sunday worship, PGC will launch our very first sports ministry Spikeball tournament!! No worry about lack of amazing Spikeball skills, athleticism, nor equipment, but the essential element is YOU! Welcome to extend invitation to your friends. Practices will take place mostly on Saturday & Sunday, with 1st tournament tentatively scheduled on October 2 (Sat) 1pm. Welcome to join us in this ministry if you’re 12 years old and above. • The Executive Board has approved the application of Simon Yuen, Anna Tam, Bosco Li and Elinor Chuk to become PGC Members, join PGC as spiritual home, participate in future development of the church’s ministry, and support PGC to grow and prosper. If any PGC Member does not agree them to become PGC Member, please submit your written reason to Deacon Cecil Mar of Membership Committee before August 22, 2021.

Prayer Item:

• Pray for the Afghans in danger due to intrusion of the Taliban force. May God save lives and give peace, esp. to women, and strengthen Christians’ faith there.
• Haiti’s recently hit by earthquake and tropical storm intensify struggles of local people in midst of political instability. May God guide local government and international rescue to save the injured, and arrange food, rescue aid and medication to relieve sufferings and give people comfort.
• Canada is headed towards a 4th wave of COVID-19 infections due to rapid worldwide spread of the virus variants. Pray to God the government will carry out best policies and measures to control the spread.

Praise Item:

• Praise to God for the success ofBaptism Ceremony last Sunday in nice weather and good setting. May God continue to lead the 9 baptized BS on their spiritual journey.
• Viktoriia, wife of Pastor Iain, has already arrived and will stay for long in Canada. May God guide them to seek for a suitable place to stay in Markham.
