  2. Temptation is not the same thing as sin.
  3. We do not need to struggle against temptations all alone.

  • The Executive Board has approved the application of Simon Yuen, Anna Tam, Bosco Li and Elinor Chuk to become PGC Members, join PGC as spiritual home, participate in future development of the church’s ministry, and support PGC to grow and prosper. If any PGC Member does not agree them to become PGC Member, please submit your written reason to Deacon Cecil Mar of Membership Committee before August 22, 2021.
  • Praise Lord Jesus that children Summer Camp youth team spent time to evaluate, give feedback, visit campers, and they’re encouraged to serve in church’s ministry in coming year. May the Lord bless them to grow in Him!
  • During this summer, PGC leaders encourage cell groups to hold outdoor gatherings and activities, like gatherings at backyard, parks, outings, etc., in compliance with the safety regulations under Step 3 of the Reopen Plan. Social gatherings up to 25 people for indoor and 100 people for outdoor are permitted. Please view the governmental guideline for reference and details: https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/reopening

Prayer Item:

  • May God save lives and comfort people in Chinese cities and European countries who suffer from devastating flooding.
  • May God guard the hearts and strengthen faithfulness of the 9 b/s getting baptized, and keep the arrangements on the Baptismal day smooth and well.

Praise Item:

  • Viktoriia, wife of Pastor Iain, has already arrived and will stay for long in Canada. May she adapt to the new life here soon.
  • Thank God the 2-week children summer camp has finished. May the youth team further grow in God, and continue to serve Him and in the church’s ministry.
