Hosea 1-2

 God does not abandon us to our Sin
 Hosea’s relationship to Gomer mirrors Christ’s relationship with us
 Even when we are unfaithful, god is faithful
 Nothing we do can separate us from God’s love
 God’s forgiveness trumps his anger at our sin
