• Please note the following arrangements for the month of August:
  • To prepare for production of our PGC 20th Anniversary photo album, photo shooting will take place today and 8/31 during 09:30 -12:30 at PCA Room 308. All PGC brothers and sisters please sign up your preferred time slot (5mins each) on the chart already available outside Room 308.  Photo shooting for cell groups will take place later after individual/family pictures are done.  Stay tuned on further updates to be announced.
  • Due to gym floor maintenance, PCA will not be available for our Sunday Service on 8/24. Sunday Service on that week will be arranged as below:
    

    Cantonese	10:30am	Online via Zoom
    English / Bridge	2:30pm-4pm	In-person at MGC (8 Elson St, Markham)
    Children	—-	Children will join service with their parents (Pastor Connie & Lucia will be on vacation that Sunday)

   

• The English post-service exegesis series, taking place 11:15—12:30 at PCA Cafetorium today, will read on Psalm 91. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday in September, “Mini Series on the Creed of Nicaea” will be studied.  Encourage you to stay and join to learn deeper on God’s words and our belief.
• PGC 20th Anniversary Publication has postponed the publication schedule, thus still welcome submissions. Please email your submission by 8/25 (Mon), to Zeno (lamzeno2@yahoo.com).  We are targeting to have the electronic publication ready by Thanksgiving Day.  Look forward to reading your sharing.
• We would like to clean up all “Lost & Found” accumulated items by end of August. All items will be laid on table in the Big Gym on 8/17 and 8/31. Please come and claim if any item belongs to you.  All leftover items will be donated to non-profit organisations after 8/31.
• TCCPA will host an online Parenting Workshop through Zoom in English about “Letting go / Walking together ” on 8/21 (Thurs) 8-10pm. Rev Felix Chow, the speaker from Toronto Chinese Methodist Church, will share to parents who are sending their children to college/university.  Workshop in Cantonese is available on 8/19 (Tues).  Please click the link for details and registration: https://tccpa.org/
• PGC needs sufficient funds to provide for the needs of our different ministries. Let’s respond to God’s love through our faithful and generous offering.

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for peace in the world, and political and economic disputes between states will be settled soon according to God’s plan.
• Pray for all candidates baptized this year that God will strengthen their hearts and faith.
• Pray for Vika’s grandmother who has been diagnosed with stage 3 skin Cancer and is undergoing treatment now. May God heal her, and continue to provide for her treatment.
• Praise God for the smooth completion of summer camp this year. May God bless great bonding and spiritual growth for all youths and campers.
• Pray for God’s guidance to our church pastors and leaders to overcome challenges with faithful and united heart. Pray for our continued supports financially and with prayers.
• Pray for PGC’s missionary ministry, that God will have mercy with healing on those suffering from physically weaknesses, and grant strength to the ones undergoing challenges.
