• 2025 Joint PGC Baptism Sunday will take place 10:00—12:30 on 7/27 at the Big Gym, followed by immersion ceremony outdoor, then a celebrative lunch after.
  Welcome to invite family and friends to join, to share, to witness, and to glorify our God together.

  Please note some special arrangements as below:

  • Due to limited parking at PCA, please park on roadside of PCA or extended parking at 180 Renfrew Dr.
  • PGCKIDS & Nursery service available at 10:00-11:30.  Would parents please pick up your kids right after Sunday Service at around 11:30, then join the immersion ceremony outdoor together after.
  • No Loving Refreshment on that Sunday
  • As we continue to celebrate PGC’s 20th Anniversary, "Peoples Carnival 2025" will take place after the Baptismal Sunday on 7/27 at PCA.  Various entertaining games; photo and activities booths will be there for congregants of all ages to have fun, and enjoy a cheerful afternoon together.  Please reserve your time to come and have an enjoyable time.

• Baptism rehearsals will take place TODAY 12:45-13:30 at PCA Cafetorium. All Baptizing candidates and all members of Baptism Committee please attend.  Please also keep them and the baptism day in prayers.
• PGC has a total of 17 candidates getting baptized this year: (Cantonese 7) Ada Ah Heung TAI, Betty CHEUNG, Brian CHEUNG, Curtis LAI, Elsa Kwai Wah CHAK, Mimi LAU, Ricky LO; (English 10) Adeline CHAN, Atara Hannah CHENG, Ennida LAM, Jaden CHUNG, Matheson SEE, Matthew LEUNG, Merlin WONG, Preston Cephas LYNN, Skylar Christopher LIU, Timothy SHUM.  Please keep them in prayers that God will continue to strengthen their faith.
• Pastor Iain preached at Milliken Gospel Church this morning. Please pray that his sermon message will encourage and bless the congregation there.
• The English post-service exegesis series, taking place 11:15—12:30 at PCA Cafetorium today, will read on the book of Philemon. Encourage you to stay and join to learn deeper on God’s words.   More classes scheduled on 1st & 3rd Sundays in summer months: Jude (8/3) and Psalm 91 (8/17).
• The University Fellowship is inviting all of English ministry, esp. CrossRoads youths, university and young adults, to join us in a night of worship, which will be held TONIGHT 7-9pm at Milliken Gospel Church! • PGC Mario Kart World Tournament will take place on 8/10 (Sun) at PCA Cafetoirum, with Lunch at 12:45 – 1:30pm, followed by Tournament at 1:30 – 4pm. Children, youths, young adults and adults with all skill levels are welcome to join this intergenerational eSports event.  Sign-up deadline on 8/4.  Please contact Pastor Andy or Nelson Chan for enquiries.
• CrossRoads Highschoolers will have gathering on the topic of “Relationship Q&A” on 7/25 (coming Friday) 7:30—9pm at PCA Cafetorium. Welcome new G9 youths to come join together.
• Praise God! Many brothers and sisters are blessing the summer camp with their support and cooking! Children’s summer camp is halfway done. Let’s pray boldly for the youth team to reach children with Jesus’ love and gospel. Please ask God to call our young people to dedicate their lives to Jesus!
• Executive Board has approved 2 applicants to become PGC Members, join PGC as their spiritual home.  If any PGC Member disagree them to become PGC Members, please submit your written reason to Deacon Cecil Mar of Membership Committee by 7/20. They are: Yan Yuen (Eng) & Venus Yuen(HS).
• AFC Frosh Connexion will take place on 8/12 (Tue) 5-9pm at NYCBC. Gr12 graduates going to post-secondary are strongly recommended to join and meet their respective fellowships there.  The event has dinner option and is free of charge for frosh (1st yr students).  Sale ends on 8/1 with details here: https://www.afccanada.org/fx

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for peace in the world, that God might end ongoing armed conflicts, and political and economic disputes between states will be settled soon.
• Pray for all candidates getting baptized this year that God will strengthen their hearts and faith. Pray for the Baptism Committee in coordinating all organizing tasks,  and the ceremony and all testimonies on 7/27 will glorify God’s name.
• Pray for Vika’s grandmother who has been diagnosed with stage 3 skin Cancer and is undergoing treatment now. May God heal her, and continue to provide for her treatment.
• Pray for PGC’s church building plan. May God guide our church pastors and leaders to overcome challenges with faithful and united heart.  Pray for our continued supports financially and with prayers.
• Pray for summer camp starting week 2 this week. May God bless great bonding and spiritual growth for all youths and a loving & joyful camp for all kids.
• Pray for Alissa’s mission trip to Japan (6/30-7/14) that God will prepare her heart in spreading the gospel to local people and protect her in the trip.

PGC needs sufficient funds to provide for the needs of our different ministries.  Let’s respond to God’s love through our faithful and generous offering.
