News & Events:

• 2025 Joint PGC Baptism Sunday will take place 10:-00—12:30 on 7/27 at the Big Gym, followed by immersion ceremony outdoor.  There will be a celebrative lunch after.  Welcome to invite family and friends to join, to share, to witness, and to glorify our God together.

  * There will be PGCKIDS & Nursery service that Sunday 10:00-11:30.  Would parents please pick up your kids right after Sunday Service at around 11:30, then join the immersion ceremony outdoor together after.*

• English Sunday school will take place in the Cafetorium today 11:15–12:30 on the topic of the Family of God. This will also serve as the final baptismal class for all baptismal candidates.
• The post-service exegesis series on short books are rescheduled on the following dates: Philemon (7/20),  Jude (8/3), Psalm 91 (8/17)
• Deadline to purchase 2025 Baptism t-shirts has been closed, with payment of all orders by today. Please contact Pastor Andy to pay in cash or by cheque.
• Executive Board has approved 2 applicants to become PGC Members, join PGC as their spiritual home, participate in future development of the church's ministry, and support PGC to grow and prosper.  If any PGC Member does not agree them to become PGC Members, please submit your written reason to Deacon Cecil Mar of Membership Committee by 6/20. They are: Yan Yuen 袁叡恩 (English) and Venus Yuen 源思穎 (Hingstone).
• PCA will undergo some maintenance works during the summer time. In consideration of safety purpose, part of Hallway 200 & 300 will be closed and the use of Doors 2 & 3 will be prohibited.  Please use Doors 1, 4 & 5 to enter and exit the school building.  Thank you for your attention.
• We are thankful that summer camp ministry are excitingly underway.  We are thankful 16 mentors and food team has been formed.  We only need adults support duty during camp days!  Please contact Lucia/Pastor Connie for details.
• Children committee will be promoting summer devotional life in July and August. Preschool children will be encouraged to read 10 Bible story books with parents while Gr 1-5 children are encouraged to read the 4 gospel books and Romans!  May God encourage and bless our families to root and grow in Him together.  Each child will have a progress chart and a mini Jesus figure to take home today.
• AFC Frosh Connexion will take place on 8/12 (Tue) 5-9pm at North York Chinese Baptist Church (NYCBC). Gr12 graduates going to post-secondary are strongly recommended to join and meet their respective fellowships there.  The event has dinner option and is free of charge for frosh (1st year students).  Sale ends on 8/1 with details here: https://www.afccanada.org/fx

Prayer & Praise Items:

• Pray for peace in the world, that God might end ongoing armed conflicts, and political and economic disputes between states will be settled soon.
• Pray for all candidates getting baptized this year that God will strengthen their hearts and faith. Pray for the Baptism Committee in coordinating all organizing tasks,  and the ceremony and all testimonies on 7/27 will glorify God’s name.
• Pray for Vika’s grandmother who has been diagnosed with stage 3 skin Cancer and is undergoing treatment now. May God heal her, and continue to provide for her treatment.
• Pray for PGC’s church building plan that brothers and sisters will work together in supporting church building on the purchased land.
• Pray for the summer interns in leading the youth team and campers to spend time close to Jesus and grow spiritually. Pray for all organization works and spiritual bonding of the camp.
• Pray for Alissa’s mission trip to Japan (6/30-7/14) that God will prepare her heart in spreading the gospel to local people and protect her in the trip.
