講員 Speaker: Pastor Iain Davis, English Ministry 系列 series
Please feel free to download the bulletin PDF or use another cell phone to read the sermon outline, news and prayer items.
CHAIRMAN: CECIL MAR
SPEAKER: PASTOR IAIN DAVIS
SCRIPTURES: MATTHEW 16:13-20
Sermon Notes:
Catholic Belief:
- The Pope is the spiritual father for all believers, entrusted by Christ with the office he first gave to Peter, to pastor the whole church
- The Pope is Infallible, given special grace from God to keep the church from theological error and heresy
Our Belief:
- The belief that the pope is the pastor of the whole church, or that the bishop of Rome is in authority over all people, is not found in scripture and is a development over time.
- The clear teaching of scripture is that the church is to be led by godly elders and pastors, submitting to Christ as the head of the church
