News & Events:

• Peoples Gospel Church is embarking on the mission to plant our church site in the near future at 5172 Major Mackenzie Dr. E., Markham in God’s timing.

  As a member of our church family, please prayerfully consider supporting this mission by pledging an amount out of faith towards the Building Fund.  During the next 40 days up to Easter (April 20, 2025), please pray as a family for the building project, and about how much you wish to pledge this year as an offering towards the building fund.  We aim to collect this offering by Easter 2026!

  **The pledge form in hard copies are available on top of PGC Drop Box for easy pickup by brothers and sisters.  Feel free to drop your form in after completion.  Thank you for your prayer and sacrificial pledge.**

• Welcome to invite your family and friends to join PGC Good Friday and Easter Sunday Services at PCA and commemorate our Lord Jesus Christ together:

  Good Friday Service – 4/18 (Fri) 4:00-5:30pm
  Cantonese, English & Children Ministries will be holding a memorial Good Friday Service at the same time, in the small gym (Cantonese) and the Nest (English & Children).  Let us solemnly worship our Lord who gave his life as an atoning sacrifice for us on the Cross so many years ago.  (*Nursery service available)

  Joint Easter Sunday Service – 4/20 (Sun)
  *10:00—10:25am  Light Refreshment
  *10:30am—12:30pm  “Worship the Sacrificial Lamb and the Victorious Risen Lord” Joint Easter Service  (*NO PGCKIDS & Nursery services)

• All are welcome to join the English Fellowship Connection today 11:15-12:30 after service at PCA Cafetorium. Feel free to bring your own food and join together.  HS Girls Gathering will be held during the same time in Room 307.
• There had been some bank transfer issues happened last Wednesday. The issues were quickly identified and resolved on the same day afternoon.  Apologize for the inconvenience caused to brothers and sisters using PAD Automatic Deposit, and appreciate once again for your faithful offering.
• Please note the date of 2025 PGC Baptism has been advanced to 7/27, with application deadline on 6/1. Application can be submitted online from Baptism website (https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/baptism/) or through completion of hard copies available on Reception Table in PCA Big Gym.  Invite you to apply for getting baptized this year, if you have already accepted Jesus Christ as savior.  Please contact your cell leaders or Pastors for your decision or enquiries.
• Praise the LORD that PGC has receive CSJ funding for partial youth employment for the Summer Camp. We are still open for coordinator and counselor positions.  We also have 12 spots left for youth fellowship camp for Grade 5-8.
• During this Lent period, congregants are encouraged to make use of the following resources and materials to reflect on Jesus’ death and victorious resurrection and get ourselves prepared for Easter:

Prayer & Praise Items:

** Encourage use of PGC’s Prayer Card and be quiet, humble, turn back, seek and wait for God together (https://peoplesgospelchurch.org/files/2023prayercard.pdf) **

• Pray for the loss of life and damages in the recent Myanmar earthquakes. May God heal the injured, comfort saddened hearts, guide all relief and restoration works, and keep local missionaries and churches safe.
• Pray for Vika’s grandmother who has been diagnosed with stage 3 skin Cancer and is undergoing treatment now. May God heal her, and continue to provide for her treatment.
• Pray for PGC’s church building plan and seek for God’s guidance during this Lent period to move you in offering pledge willingly with faith to support the church building ministry.
• Praise God for His provision on the camp venue. Pray for CSJ funding confirmation to be received soon for subsequent hiring confirmation to the youth serving team.

PGC needs sufficient funds to provide for the needs of our different ministries.  Let’s respond to God’s love through our faithful and generous offering.
