  • The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among usPGC Joint Christmas Worship will take place 10:30—12:30 at PCA Big Gym on 12/25 (Wed).   Welcome to invite families and friends to celebrate and receive our King of Glory together.
  • Topical Q&A and Gr 6-8 Sunday School will take place today 11:15-12:30. Please join where appropriate.
  • English Caring Team would like to cordially invite helpers serving in the past year in music, AV, chair and scripture reading, together with their families, for a lunch as a token of appreciation to their dedication and hard work.   • English is launching a biblical foundations course in 2025. It contains 12 classes to be delivered in 2 parts. Part 1 will commence on 1/5 for around 3 months, taking place 11:15-12:30 on every 1st & 3rd Sunday.    Mandatory for those serving in English (Chair, AV, worship, etc.) but it also opens for everyone interested (G6 to adults).   Almost 60 sign-ups has been received, and registration is extended with details available from the following link:  https://forms.gle/T3nHdYPKuukAL8MM8
  • All High school (HS) girls are welcome to join the Christmas Potluck Party on 12/22 (coming Sun) 5:30-9pm at Wendy’s place. Please RSVP through the sign-up sheet sent by email or contact Mina/Wendy for enquiry.
  • Youth Retreat will take place on 2/14-16, 2025 at Camp Shalom (1985 Beke Rd, Cambridge). All youths (G6-12)  are welcome to join either 2-night stay or a day visit on Feb/15.  Earlybird registration with cheque payment should be made by 12/29.  For details & registration: https://forms.gle/XaKvWUW1smxYUWVz5.  We are in need of more adult helpers to offer supports in the retreat.  Please contact Pastor Iain / Pastor Andy if you are interested to serve the youths.

  • Please note that there will be NO Sports Night on 12/25 due to Christmas Holiday.
  • Executive Board has approved 1 applicant from Bethel Zone, Suk Yan Rachel Fung, to become a PGC Member. If you disagree, please submit written disagreement to Deacon Cecil Mar of Membership Committee by 12/15.
  • Christmas is coming, Let’s remember many missionaries away from homes but serving faithfully overseas for God. We encourage cell groups to prepare cards or gifts to share our care and support to them.
  • PGC needs faithful response from brothers and sisters to God by making offerings to provide for PGC’s financial needs.  To achieve a better balanced budget for this financial year of 2024, please choose any one below that suits you best: (a) PAD Automatic Deposit (b) Online Offering (c) Cash/Cheque Offering.  More details about making offerings available on top of Offering Box.  Cut-off date for 2024 tax receipt will be 12/29 (by cash/cheque) and 12/31 (for credit) respectively

 


Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pray for God’s mercy to stop ongoing wars happening in many places. May people scattered due to warfare can return and restore their homes, and that those with family lost and injured will be healed and receive peace and hope in God’s grace and mercy. .
  • Pray for PGC’s direction and ministry plans for 2025. Pray that God will lead us in promoting and working together for various ministries, including evangelism, discipleship raining and cell group growth.
  • Pray for brothers and sisters who are weak and sick. May God heal and grant them a peaceful heart, help them to put focus on God at times of difficulty.
  • Pray for overseas missionaries supported by PGC that God will keep them safe with good health, and bless their local ministries.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
