c) Trusting in God’s timing for deliverance
News & Events:
October is Appreciation Month for pastoral staff and cell leaders. Encourage brothers and sisters to recognise and appreciate their Pastors, church leaders & cell leaders for their dedication and commitment.
- Due to Daylight Savings Time ending on 11/2 (Sat) night, please turn the clock 1 hour backward before going to bed on Saturday.
- English Prayer Meeting will take place 11:15—12:30 after service today at Cafetorium. Please join and pray together for each other and for our church.
- With the approaching of Halloween at this month end, PGC has prepared some related EV tracts for this traditional Western festival. Brothers and sisters, even youths and kids, may make use of them to introduce correct Christian messages to your friends and neighbors. Welcome to get some from the Reception Desk.
- PGC Joint Child Dedication Service has been scheduled on 11/24, 11:15 – 12:30 at PCA Big Gym. In this church-wide dedication service, parents reveal their thankful hearts and desire to help their kids establish a godly life. At the same time, as spiritual family in Christ, the entire church express our support and blessings to these families. We sincerely invite parents to consider dedicating your children this year (up to 12yrs old). Interested parents please pray for your consideration and contact Pastor Connie or Lucia as soon as possible. Relevant details and materials have to be submitted by Nov/3 for subsequent arrangements.
- It is with heavy heart to announce the sad news about the recent loss of Annie Cmo’s nephew Isaac at his young age of 22. Pray for God’s comfort to May, Annie Cmo’s sister, who also lost her husband 2 years ago and now her only son. May God grant His comfort and give her strength.
- PGC Parents fellowship will come again on 11/1 (Fri) night 7:15 to 9:15pm. Our theme is “Stay close and connected together - in a digitally distracted and spiritually disconnected era”. We thank God for over 60 adults already signed up for the night. Please pray for the Spirit's working among all to lift each other up together in spiritual growth and mutual encouragement. May all participating parents be punctual that evening and enjoy a spiritually fruitful night.
- PGC English Men's Retreat will take place 9:30am-5pm on 11/2 (Sat) at the Meadow of Aurora (440 William Graham) with the theme “Intimacy with God”. Welcome all men, university and up (including current Gr12) to join with a fee of $25 recommended which will include light breakfast and lunch. Please register by 10/30.
