  • All are welcome to join the English Fellowship Lunch today 11:15-12:30 after service at PCA Cafetorium. Feel free to bring your own food and join together.
  • October is Appreciation Month for pastoral staff and cell leaders. Encourage brothers and sisters to recognise and appreciate their Pastors, church leaders and cell leaders for their dedication and commitment.
  • PGC Parents fellowship will come again on 11/1 (Fri) night 7:15 to 9:15pm. Our theme is “Stay close and connected together - in a digitally distracted and spiritually disconnected era”.  We thank God for about 32 adults already signed up for the night.   Please pray for the Spirit's working among all to lift each other up together in spiritual growth and mutual encouragement.   • PGC English Men's Retreat will take place 9:30am-5pm on 11/2 (Sat) at the Meadow of Aurora (440 William Graham) with the theme “Intimacy with God”. Welcome all men, university and up (including current Gr12) to join with a fee of $25 recommended which will include light breakfast and lunch.  Please register by 10/30.
  • “Nothing More. Nothing Less. Nothing Else.” - IDMC 2024 Conference will be held online on 10/18-19 (Fri-Sat) with Rev. Edmund Chan speaking in English (dubbed in Cantonese & Mandarin). Online fee is $60/per with $10 discount available for church group registration of 10+ people. To encourage participation of brothers and sisters, PGC will subsidize half of the fee, i.e. applicants pay only $25 to participate. Please contact Mabel for registration (admin@pgcmail.org).   • Thank you for those who participated in PGC Fire Drill last week to get familiar with the emergency operation. Invite your kind completion of an online questionnaire (https://forms.gle/XWTtmJcgwkQeNpFP9) by 10/13 and give us your feedback for future planning and improvements.  We’ll debrief on the drill performance and feedbacks received in due course.
  • PGC needs sufficient funds to provide for the needs of our different ministries. Let’s respond to God’s love through our faithful and generous offering.

 

 


Prayer & Praise Items:

  • Pray for God’s sovereignty and mercy over the world now in political instability, and people in many places suffering from natural disasters.
  • Pray for God’s healing hand on Rev. Leung C-Mo who has suffered from a minor stroke, and is currently hospitalized for observation.
  • Pray for teens & parents participated in Launch into Teen Years. May the Lord bless the two generations gained from a fruitful and joyful learning together .
  • Pray for the Compassion Experience Tour to Dominican Republic (10/8-15) to have an enjoyable travelling and also learn about Compassion DR’s works and visit the children we sponsor there.
  • Pray for the soonest recovery of our missionaries Misa and Cindy, as both have been sick recently. Also pray for other overseas missionaries that God will keep them safe with good health, and strengthen their ministries in sharing gospel.
